It was a fantastic day of action in the Third Round.

Auchinleck Talbot – familiar with a Scottish Cup upset over the years – produced another result to upset the odds, as they defeated Hamilton Academical 1-0 at Beechwood Park.

Ayr United fought back from 1-0 down to secure their place in the Fourth Round draw, as they defeated Albion Rovers 2-1. Banks O'Dee produced a terrific result, as they upset East Fife, winning 2-1.

Goals from Jamie Darroch and Nicky Little sent the Holm Park crowd into raptures, as Clydebank defeated Clyde 2-0. Meanwhile, Raith Rovers produced a determined display as they won 2-1 against Falkirk – despite playing the majority of the match with ten men.

Cove Rangers v Queen of the South, Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Greenock Morton and Kelty Hearts v Montrose will all go to replays – details of which can be found here.
